It'll be fine. You might not be able to control them, but I believe we can coax them out if we're gentle about it. And if they protest over it, then I'll find something they can shed out from the front against. Maybe they still have instincts for it, even if they've never shed before.

He's just testing for now, to see if the snakes mind the backwards removal or not. He's fond of them and he doesn't intend to cause them any more distress than he would try to cause Atem.

As much as I miss your hair as it normally is...I think I may well miss the snakes too. The fact that they are not able to be controlled is charming. They're just showing how you feel, after all.
