It's, uh. It's something some of the other monsters do. I can name at least one person who definitely likes being hurt, but I'm not sure if that's because he likes pain or because he wants to be punished. He ended up in a pretty bad situation because of it, since his partner didn't care about him, and just wanted to give pain...
