[Yeah he's glad about that, too. But talking gets harder, the wider the other mouth is open; it's not meant for human speech! It opens 45 degrees, 90, 110....it stops around 135 or so. Certainly not a full 180, but still....pretty wide. Big fangs are held flat against the roof of his mouth, and the tongue is wide, flat, and blue. That one's more dragonlike.
Patiently, carefully, Atem holds his mouth open. He can't see too well what's happening, but the heat sensors on the front of his face can sort-of tell where Ryou is.
There's an impossibly deep breath in, then it's let slowly out.

It's not that he's not gonna put his head in there. He totally is. But it does kind of look like the world's most dangerous mousetrap, and it's eerie how much more inhuman it is than he's used to. Even with the tail, Atem didn't really strike him as anything terribly inhuman...probably because he's a weirdo.
The mouth though...that's crazy.
He leans forward and draws closer. He puts his head in the mousetrap...which is an apt name, because actual snakes often devour mice. It's a good thing his hair's still short, or else it might tickle against Atem's tongue.
But yes, he's in there, not a single regret except that he wants to touch the fangs! Maybe for the second time? (he probably touched them shortly after post-cardgame feeding, we just don't know!)]

Ryou's not sure what he wants out of this, but what he does know is that...he's satisfied. Maybe he just wanted to look into the void? Maybe he just didn't expect it to open up so wide and thought there'd be more of a challenge...
Either way, he backs out and taps the edge of the Atem's...lip? Is it really a lip, it's just the seam. This is a little awkward, isn't it...?]

[he says, as it shuts itself up again.]
There aren't many things I'd say no to, if you asked. Especially after what you did for me this week.
[All the coils tighten around Ryou a moment.]

When the coils tighten around him, the laugh tapers off. It's not as if Atem had squeezed the breath out of him it's just...he likes it. He likes being wrapped up in the majority of Atem's snake body.]
It's alright if you think it's more than a little weird, it won't hurt my feelings. [He winks. It's silly, Atem pulls off winking much better.] But as for what I did...you don't owe me anything for that, I always want to help you. Whenever something difficult arises, we have to be ready to hold each other up, right?
[Atem has done so much for Ryou. So much...that helping with the shed doesn't even compare. Even if they were still just friends, he'd absolutely have put his all into it.]

[This time, he adds his arms to the hug. They'll stay there, most likely, until Atem dies, near dawn; this one is mercifully quick, a heart attack with very little pain, and his snake-body turns to dust and Atem the vampire sits up out of it.
He feels kind of bad about the mess! He will help clean it up...and at least Ryou has some intact shed parts to keep.]
