Well, if you insist...

[Ryou is pretty sure that pookas have limitations on their transformative abilities, just like a shade or demon might have on their possessions. But this is his first day, and he's allowed to be a dumbass, right? So...he sits up, then slides out of bed.]

Hmm...do you mind loaning me a pair of your pants, please? If this is going to work, I'm going to need bottoms as well, and I'm not going for height in a way that my usual outfits will work.

Then, we'll just have to have faith I don't mess it up, I suppose.

[Ryou isn't exactly fully confident, but he is determined, and it shows on his face, despite it all.]

[He gestures to the dresser. His pants are Ryou's pants. They're even organized by style: aggressive leather for nymph, neon trunks for mer, linens for werewolf, and deep in the back there's even pants that had holes made in them for demon knee-spikes...

...and one very worn set of Domino High uniform pants.]

[Ryou nods, then walks on over to the dresser to peruse. He decides, ultimately, on the leather pants, though he kind of likes the neon trunks rather a lot!

Please lord give this boy some style.

He slides the ill-fitting pants on, then turns to Atem with a grin.]

I'll be right back, I need to get the shirt!

[And off he goes, to the bathroom. He really won't leave Atem waiting for too long, no more than a few minutes! But he's definitely up to something. There's rustling just past the doorway, and then...Ryou pokes his head around the corner.

Only it's not his head.

It's Atem's head, albeit with ridiculously huge pooka ears which Ryou has managed to color the same as his hair, and therefore made it look as if Atem had grown out the world's most out-of-control mullet, at least until the ears start moving. It kind of ruins the illusion when they wiggle in excitement.

Know what else ruins the illusion? Ryou trying to imitate Atem's laugh.]

H-heh heh heh...how's this?

[Ryou no. Ryou stop.]

[He breaks into a laugh.]

You picked me?!

[He approaches, just barely holding himself back from picking up one of the big red-tipped ears.]

Is that what I'd look like as a pooka, do you think?

[Atem's charmed, thrilled, and flattered.]

[Ryou smiles as he steps more into view, wearing Atem's clothes and actually fitting into it. The power of disguises!]

I figured I'd pick something dear to me to emulate for a little while.

[Corny. Sappy. Gross.

Ryou doesn't care though. He instead hums thoughtfully at Atem's question, before reaching back and pulling an ear into view. Just because Atem isn't going to touch them doesn't mean Ryou won't.]

...It's either you as a pooka, or you with a mullet. I think I'd prefer the pooka, personally. Then again, not all pookas are rabbits. Bruno was a rat pooka during that weird monster change you started up by fiddling with the Fourth. And isn't Larry a beaver?

I wonder...would you be a rabbit, like me and Steve? Or something else?

[Right so. We're just not gonna address the mullet comment, huh. Ok, Ryou.]
