You're right...and until we get some kind of confirmation, we shouldn't worry too hard about it. There's other things that take priority.
Like, maybe trying to find clothes that fit me like this? H-haha...unless I'm going to just wear your shirts like a shameless, love-crazed fool.

[He's not thinking of any kind of modern trafficking, he's thinking of wives in palaces of their own. If Ryou were set up for life like that, of course he would have clothes?? But Atem doesn't want Ryou shut away like that at all, and wouldn't do it even if it were possible and socially accepted. He wants Ryou with him, helping to make decisions.]
But, you'll have to wear something out to get clothes...how good are you at using the disguise power?

You don't have to think that. I don't think anyone would believe that...they'd just think I shrunk and didn't have the right sized clothes, you know. That is...I don't intend to wear your shirts throughout this whole temporary change, so they couldn't think anything else!
[It's said as much for his benefit as Atem's. There's nothing wrong with sharing clothes, he doesn't want it to come off weird. Don't boyfriends do that?
Either way...there's the other question to consider as well.]
But anyway...hm. I've only been a pooka for little while today. I haven't really tested my powers like this. But if it's anything like shade shapeshifting, I should be alright at it.

[Ryou is pretty sure that pookas have limitations on their transformative abilities, just like a shade or demon might have on their possessions. But this is his first day, and he's allowed to be a dumbass, right? So...he sits up, then slides out of bed.]
Hmm...do you mind loaning me a pair of your pants, please? If this is going to work, I'm going to need bottoms as well, and I'm not going for height in a way that my usual outfits will work.
Then, we'll just have to have faith I don't mess it up, I suppose.

[He gestures to the dresser. His pants are Ryou's pants. They're even organized by style: aggressive leather for nymph, neon trunks for mer, linens for werewolf, and deep in the back there's even pants that had holes made in them for demon knee-spikes...

[And off he goes, to the bathroom. He really won't leave Atem waiting for too long, no more than a few minutes! But he's definitely up to something. There's rustling just past the doorway, and then...Ryou pokes his head around the corner.
Only it's not his head.
It's Atem's head, albeit with ridiculously huge pooka ears which Ryou has managed to color the same as his hair, and therefore made it look as if Atem had grown out the world's most out-of-control mullet, at least until the ears start moving. It kind of ruins the illusion when they wiggle in excitement.
Know what else ruins the illusion? Ryou trying to imitate Atem's laugh.]

[He approaches, just barely holding himself back from picking up one of the big red-tipped ears.]

I figured I'd pick something dear to me to emulate for a little while.

Ryou doesn't care though. He instead hums thoughtfully at Atem's question, before reaching back and pulling an ear into view. Just because Atem isn't going to touch them doesn't mean Ryou won't.]
...It's either you as a pooka, or you with a mullet. I think I'd prefer the pooka, personally. Then again, not all pookas are rabbits. Bruno was a rat pooka during that weird monster change you started up by fiddling with the Fourth. And isn't Larry a beaver?
I wonder...would you be a rabbit, like me and Steve? Or something else?
